After putting our baggage in the hotel, we had an alleyway tour at dusk.

Pic1 is a church we saw on our way. Our guide rairai San told us that although there were not so many people, the church was really huge one in Aomori.

Pic 2 and 3 are the night scene of Hirosaki, it was very nice with the light twisting and turning, showing u the endless beauty of this city.

Rairai San lead us to three streets by using his knowledge of the labyrinth city. Sometimes the closest way was always hiding at some place that was really humble.

After the walk, rairai San took us to 3 special restaurants to have a taste of the hirosaki' traditional dishes.

The first one served us seafood and nabe, that was fresh and delicious. The owner had a good memory and he would paint every customer and their names by the form of lovely dogs on the blackboard at the entrance of the restaurant.

For the second one, the mamasan was really enthusiastic and kept letting us have more food.

For the third one, which was a bar(1st time to go to a bar), as I couldn't have anything, I ordered hot water. And the owner said I was the first customer ordering that during his whole career life lol.

The place we live was an inn named "石場旅館", which was established in 1879 and was popular with international tourists. Whilst it did not have the same comfort as a hotel, the traditional tatami style rooms, the delicious and nutritious Japanese breakfast, the balcony with a tearoom all gave me a taste of "old Japan".
