Kami no Iwahashi bridge was built in 1926 and is one of the oldest suspension bridges in Akita prefecture. You can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings with small waterfalls, a stunningly green river and atmospheric bridge.

On the way to this bridge you have to cross Dakigaeri valley on foot for about 30-40 minutes. It is surrounded on both sides by mountains and you can even visit some Japanese shrines along the way. If it's Autumn, everything will be covered by golden leaves and you can find your internal freedom here. img_0840 img_0846 img_0849 img_0853 img_0868
